Epiphone es335 dot semihollow question?
This guitar:

I know this DOES sound silly, but I've only used 1 electric guitar, a normal solid one so I'd rather be safe then sorry;
By 'semi hollow' does it mean it's used like a normal electric guitar, like a strat? When it's amplified (with distortion pedal aswell) will it sound electrified / distorted like a normal solid state would? Or will it be acoustic style? I've looked hard for demos / videos and all I find is people playing blues, so it doesn't do me justice. As I'll also be using it for lock 'n lol.
So will this guitar sound normal like a strat when amped and distorted? I really don't know the whole deal with 'semi hollow', wiki's pretty useless or I'm stupid...
Any soluttions?
Shweet!! Thanks!
Wow I have this exact guitar, ha (except mine is sunburst). And yeah, it's just like a solid body electric (except it sounds better, in my opinion). So yes, if you hook it up to an amp& a distortion pedal, it will sound distorted just like a solid body. Hope I helped& keep rockin'!
