Learning guitar on DVD can be a great way to supplement your private guitar lessons with a real tutor. It comes with a number of advantages including the fact that you can learn at your own pace and replay the instruction as many times as you wish.

Its all a question of balance and how motivated you are to learn guitar, is it a burning desire or just a curiosity?

Finally when looking for a DVD try to get one suitable for your playing level on guitar, theres no point in trying to learn things which are technically too difficult.
