Paying money to learn from a guitar method which is out of date, old fashioned and of poor quality is not going to succeed in teaching you how to play guitar. What are some kinda easy songs to play on the electric guitar?

I'm not looking for songs that are for beginners, but songs that are kind of in between easy and hard. I can't think of any examples. but i'm NOT looking for songs like:
Smoke on the water
Smells like teen spirit.
