What kind of Bass Guitar is Toshiya,Dir en Grey using?10pts!!!?

First of all there is rumors that he is using an ESP AX series and that he does not use that white one like in Marrow of a Bone and Withering to Death.Also I have not ben keeping up with the Greatest Jrock band since X-Japan:D.Also is the ESP AX 104 bass guitar any good?

All i've noticed is that it looks the exact same but in a different color, which sucks, cause i love the white one.

115 = 66 + x

What is the difference in a Bass Guitar and a regular electric guitar?

I have a regular electric guitar, and I want to know what the difference is between a bass and a regular electric , thanks!

A bass isn't actually a guitar at all, though people have attached the word "guitar" to its name because it's visually similar. But the bass has four strings instead of six and is actually just a portable, louder version of the old upright basses you see in jazz combos. It's part of the rhythm section and used to accentuate the bass notes of the melodies played by guitarists. Guitarists play chords, whereas bassists play individual notes in rhythm with the drums. So it's not a great instrument for people who like to show off, since they'll always be part of the background. But if you remove the bassist from a band, you'll definitely notice that something important is missing. It's more subtle than guitar, but important to the rhythm section.

A lot of guitarists mistakenly believe they'll be great bassists because they'll be playing only four strings instead of six. But most of them don't mesh well with the drummer (which is absolutely essential for a bassist), since they focus on melody rather than the beat of the bass drum. As a result, they overplay and cram as many notes as possible into a song, rather than supporting the song structure by providing solid rhythm support.

What Kind of Finish Should I Use For a Bass Guitar?

I am soon going to be buying either a Fender Mexican Precision Bass or Jazz Bass, and I want to do a little refinishing. I am a novice at this, but I would have help. The bodies of those basses are alder, apparently a hard wood, and I want to make it a natural finish. I would be getting one in red, black, or blue. I don't know if the color makes it easier or harder to strip off. First, what kind of paint stripping method should I use? Just paint stripper, then sanding? Please be specific! Then, what kind of finish? I want it to look like a honey blonde maple guitar my brother has. It's natural wood, and then a honey blonde finish. What kind of finish would I need, and where might I get it? Keep in mind, I don't have a lot of cheddar to dish out on this project. what are some good Bass Guitar tips and tabs?

I am learning to play bass guitar. i already have a scheduled event in 3 months. i was just wondering if there were any easy, popular Pop or Christian songs i could get tabs for. plus, is Cresent a good brand to buy?

I doubt Crescent is a good brand. Just google the name. I saw a fairly scathing review of these so not a good plan to buy one in my opinion.
You should look in the music shops and try out a few to see if they fit. It's not s good plan to buy off the net unless you know what you're doing.
Try and buy is the best plan.
As for songs to learn, google the tab for "song name" and you'll find what you want.

Whats a better instrument to teach yourself, electric or acoustic guitar?

I'm leaning towards acoustic

acoustic or electric it all depends what guitar you really want to play. I started out with a Squier Telecaster and it took me a while to get used to it still learning really how to play. I'm going to have to choose Acoustic it sounds really good without having to turn on the amp.
