Im writing a paper on the guitar and music in general, any ideas for topics to talk about?

So far for topics in my paper i've got:

Looks like you've got some pretty good detail in there so far.
Maybe add some stuff about whammy bars, capos, music tabs, how the look of guitars has changed over the years (especially electric), alternate tuning, slide guitar, etc.

I don't know what criteria your paper's gonna be marked on, but knowing how teachers are, its probably best to add some 'conceptual complexity' bullcrap. You could talk about how guitar became so iconic, what draws so many people to it and where the future of guitar lies (better technology, changing music trends, blah blah).
